Vintage Delights...

We've just picked up some lovely vintage fabric - ready to be made into something spectacular... watch this space!!!

The treasure bags are in process and almost ready for those little seaside finds - sea glass, shells, driftwood and pebbles...

The seaside beckons and I can't wait for the weekend and that fantastic salty loveliness that a day by the surf brings. Planning to picnic on hand embroidered tablecloths with the sun on our faces and our free reange children running wild - what more can you ask for?

Oh and do please check out the catalogue for Daisy and Jess - we're finally live!!!

Exciting Times...

Busy busy busy...

Emma has just finished the first of our lovely handmade Treasure bags.

It's lined with pretty vintage fabric, with a sturdy handle that's just the right length for little adventurers or beach-combers. This is the first of many to come, all will be unique and made from recycled or vintage fabric.

I've been happy making square bunting, we will be making this with any word or name, different motifs at each end and will use recycled or vintage fabric for most of it in a selection of colours - again, no two will be the same... the joys of handmade... loving it!!!

Finally and by no means least and then I'll leave you in peace... I promise!

How often have you looked at one of your little angels (and I use the endearment reservedly!) and their latest masterpiece and wished that the edges of their creation wouldn't crinkle, juice wouldn't get spilt on it and that it would last past tea time? In answer to this, I've had a lovely time today turning Daisy's latest self-portrait into an embroidered creation, ready for framing and giving to Granny for her birthday...

So... coming very soon to Daisy and Jess will be the option to order from us your little artist's masterpiece, ready to frame, to keep or to give... watch this space...

Off now to wrangle the three little horrors into some water in the desperate hope that it will soon be bedtime... well you can but hope!
